Louise Nutgrass, 90, entered into rest on Monday, June 18, 2018.
Louise was born on September 22, 1927 in Shelby County, Kentucky where she grew up and was a 1945 graduate of Henry Clay High School. During her senior year she married the love of her life, Haskell J. Nutgrass Sr. Six years into their marriage, he left to serve his country in WWII. After he returned, she followed him around the world for his 27 years of service in the United States Air Force until they came to Warner Robins in 1966. In Warner Robins she began her career with Robins Federal Credit Union as a teller, eventually becoming the first female Vice President for the company. Her hobbies included traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her memory will forever be cherished as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Her son, David Nutgrass; her grandson, Andy Nutgrass; her parents, Willie and Elizabeth Moffett, and her siblings, Ervin Moffett, Thomas Moffett, and Sarah Moffett Brown, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Haskell J. Nutgrass Jr. (Pat) of Flora, Illinois and William F. Nutgrass (Pam) of Brunswick, Georgia; her grandchildren, Michael and Scott Nutgrass, Keri Fedenia, Audrey Nutgrass Morath, Christopher and Chad Nutgrass; her step grandchildren, Noah, Luke, and Brooke Williams; and her great-grandchildren, Gage, Tanner, and Cason Nutgrass, Julia and Bennett Fedenia, Kendall Nutgrass, Kelsie, Bryson, Paige, and Mason Morath, and Alli, Avery and Lizzy Williams.
Visitation will be Thursday June 21, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday June 22, 2018 at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
