Walter "Randy" Randall, Jr. was called to rest on Saturday, May 3, 2014.
Mr. Randall was born on November 13, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of the late Katie Randall and Walter Randall, Sr. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bethune Cookman College and his Master of Science in Science from Florida A & M University.
Mr. Randall taught Biology in the Jacksonville Public School System for a few years before enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1975. He served the United States Air Force with distinction, here and abroad, for many years before retiring in March 2000. He received numerous commendations and medals. Following his honorable service to our country, Mr. Randall served as Vice President of Operations for Cirrus Technology and was currently Senior Vice President of Progressive Consulting Technologies, Inc. (PCTI).
He was a strong man with a servant's heart and highly respected in the community. Mr. Randall tirelessly donated his time to the good of Warner Robins and was a longtime member of the Warner Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce. He has been serving in leadership of the Chamber since 2006 and was currently serving as a Chairman. Mr. Randall was also a member of the Warner Robins Rotary Club, Tuskegee Airmen's Association, and the Local VFW# 9998.
Mr. Randall was an active member of Robins Air Force Base Chapel. He was a member of the Museum of Aviation Foundations National Board of Advisors and was a longtime official of the Georgia Recreational Football League. He had many interests and hobbies including fishing, hunting, golfing and ballroom dancing. Mr. Randall was a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity as well.
He is survived by his two sons, Walter Andre Randall and Marshall Randall; three sisters, Ernestine Randall-Smith (Lawrence), Hattie Carr Thompson, Suzanne Brown (Eric); niece, Maria Murphy; three nephews, Navarro Carr, Lawrence Smith, III, Joshua Ross; other relatives and many devoted friends.
Randy's family wishes to send special appreciation, love and thanks to all those who gave so much comfort and support during this very difficult time.
The family will meet friends on Friday, May 9, 2014 at McCullough Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service celebrating the life of Lt. Col Walter "Randy" Randall, Jr., USAF (Ret) will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Robins Air Force Base Theatre, Building 909, Ninth Street, Robins AFB, 31098. Interment with Full Military Honors will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida.

***Civilians wanting to attend the service can park at the Museum of Aviation to ride a shuttle to the service. Or civilians may go to the service unescorted by picking up a letter from McCullough Funeral Home. The Russell Pkwy gate (Gate 14) should be used for entrance.***
