Lt Col William H. Schweinberg, Usaf (Ret)

Lt Col William H. Schweinberg, USAF (Ret), 62, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 17, 2010.

William was born on November 23, 1947 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He was of the Lutheran faith. With pride and honor, Lt Col Schweinberg retired from the United States Air Force. Serving during the Vietnam era, he received many distinguished medals and awards throughout his career. Subsequent to his military career, William retired from civil service where he was an Aeronautical Engineer. His parents, Clarence V. and Gladys M. Schweinberg, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving and devoted wife, Charlene Kay Schweinberg, Warner Robins; beloved cousin, Shirley Marcon; and so many other relatives and close friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association – ALS Division, 152 North Crest Blvd. Ste. C, Macon, Georgia 31210.
