Bonaire – Lucille Virginia Blankenship, 86, passed away on Tuesday, September 05, 2006. Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens, Cochran, GA. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association 277 Martin Luther King Blvd., Macon, GA 31201-3498.

Mrs. Blankenship was born on August 28, 1920 in Renick, West Virginia. Lucille was self-employed for many years as a child care provider. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Centerville. Her husband, Enos Beuford Blankenship, and her parents, George and Mary Reed, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Terrell Stanley, Bonaire, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Roy Christian, Petersburg, VA and several nieces and nephews.
