Luis Jimenez-Vinas, 57, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2006.
Mr. Jimenez-Vinas was born on January 13, 1949 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He was of the Catholic faith. With loyalty and honor, Mr. Jimenez-Vinas proudly served in and retired from the United States Air Force. He was currently employed at Robins Air Force Base in civil service where he worked as a Management Analyst. His father, Rafael Jimenez, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his loving wife of fourteen years, Linda Jimenez-Broesche, Warner Robins; children, Nilsa Keon, Massapequa, NY; Manuel Jimenez, Johnstown, PA; David Nelson, Carrollton, GA; Frances Crider, San Antonio, TX; mother, Norma Vinas, Puerto Rico; grandchildren, Anthony Nelson, Joshua Nelson, Amber Nelson, Robert Ocean Keon; and brothers, Rafael Jimenez and Eduardo Jimenez both of Puerto Rico.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Mr. Jimenez-Vinas will be buried at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia on Tuesday, January 2, 2007.
