Lunell Martin

Lunell Martin, 84, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2016.

Lunell was born in Eastman, Georgia on July 1, 1932 to the late Cleveland and Laura Carpenter. She retired from Robins Air Force Base after many years of dedicated service. She was a charter member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Lunell was an active member of the senior organization "Keenagers" at her church. She was the matriarch of her family. A loving, sister, mother and granny, she will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Lunell is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alvin T. Martin; son, Bobby T. Martin; granddaughter, Stacy McKinney; parents; brothers, DeLacey Carpenter, Walter Carpenter, Johnny Carpenter and Wayne Carpenter; sisters, Willie Owens and Carolyn Barrett

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sons, Ronnie L. Martin of Warner Robins and Danny T. Martin (Debbie Fennell) of Macon; daughter in law, Elaine Martin of Byron; grandchildren, Travis Martin (Tonya), Wendy Cole (Brian), Tara Martin, Amanda Griffin (Christopher) and Brianna Martin (Chad McWhirter); six great grandchildren and sister, Betty Coffman (Ivey) of Dallas, Georgia.

Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Shirley Hills Baptist Church. Afterwards, Lunell will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
