Luster "Tye" Oglesby

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luster "Tye" Oglesby, (aka: Elzie Elska AEla) who entered into eternal rest on September 7, 2024, at the age of 25.

Tye was born in Warner Robins, Georgia, on May 18, 1999, and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and Macon, Georgia. Tye loved music, poetry, nature, animals and the great outdoors. He was into yoga, and he loved, loved martial arts. He owned his southern heritage, especially the cuisine, loving to cook and taste test. He had a contagious laugh. a lovely sense of humor, and a unique and delicate sensibility. Tye was the guy you always wanted on your team. He will be forever cherished and missed by all who knew and loved him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his family: father, Josh Oglesby, and grandmother, Tamia Swain, both of Warner Robins, Georgia, sister Allison Litteral, of Panama City Beach, Florida, siblings, Tate Oglesby and Tori Dollar, grandmother, Lynn Wood, and great-grandmother Nedra Bradley, all of Macon, Georgia, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members, including loved ones, Adreana Taylor and Jacquez Merchant.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sabrina Renee Dollar and brother, Michael Trace, may they rest in peace.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home, with a memorial service immediately following in the chapel. Tye will be laid to rest privately.
