Luther Wendall Mcdonald

Luther Wendall McDonald, 63, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 26, 2009.

Mr. McDonald was born on April 18, 1946, in Vidalia. He was a retired Electronics Technician from Robin Air Force Base and had worked as an Event Coordinator at Georgia National Agricenter in Perry for the last five years. He called Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church his church home. His parents, Luther McDonald and Carrie Coleman McDonald, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Penny Gift-McDonald; sons, Anthony McDonald, Donovan McDonald and David Clark; daughters, April Browning and Michelle Clark; brother, Colen McDonald (Jean); sister, Juanette Grizzard (Bud); and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2009, at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pastor Kathleen Yates officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry GA 31069.
