Lynn Capps

Jesilyn Louise “Lynn” Capps, 83, entered into rest on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the Hazel Colson Hospice House in Perry, Georgia.

Born on July 22, 1939, in Columbus, Georgia, Lynn was the daughter of the late Ronald and Nell Vincent Green. She loved working and held a number of jobs throughout the years. Lynn retired from the University of Florida as a clerk. She enjoyed reconnecting and staying in touch with her high school classmates. Lynn also loved being on the computer and online shopping. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Capps; and son, Dickie Lee.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Wayne Walicek (Meshaun) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Lauren Croft (Bubba) of Hahira, Adam Walicek of Denver, Colorado, and Cody Walicek of Warner Robins; sister, Laverne Anderson of Georgia; and brother, Vince Green of Columbus; as well as three great-grandchildren.
