Lynn Patillo

Lynn Patillo, 75, entered into rest on Sunday, April 25, 2010.

Mr. Patillo was born on March 28, 1935 in Whiteville, Tennessee. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Air Force having fought during the Vietnam Era. After his retirement as a Senior Master Sergeant, he received his Masters degree and worked as the Director of Public Works for Elizabethton then on to Gallatin. He was a member of the Veterans Foreign Wars and attended Shirley Hills Baptist Church. His parents, Occie and Lola Patillo, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife Paulette Patillo, Warner Robins; children, Tess Barstow (Hank), Massachusetts, Alice McDonald (Bud), Colorado and Paul Patillo, Tennessee; step children, Greg Mitchell (Colleen), Georgia, Lori Unsel (Kevin), Kentucky, Samantha Knapp, Georgia and Gabrielle Mitchell, Kentucky; grandchildren, Roger and Audra Barstow, Massachusetts, Jill Roeder (Kent), Iowa, Matt McDonald (Megan) and Kate McDonald, both of Colorado, Occie Patillo, Tennessee, Brooke Brown (Michael), Kentucky, Jessica Knapp, Samuel Knapp, Benjamin Knapp, Matthew Mitchell, Katherine Mitchell, all of Georgia, Hannah Todd and Olivia Travis, both of Kentucky; great grandchildren, Bennet and Sage, Iowa and Bailey and Makenna, Kentucky and sister, Jean Claire Hill, Georgia.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. An additional visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home in Gallatin, Tennessee with Graveside Services immediately following in Gallatin City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the St. Judes Childrens' Hospital 332 N. Lauderdale Street Memphis, Tennessee 38105-2794.
