Madie Fern Hudson

Madie Fern Hudson, 92, entered into rest September 24, 2008.

Mrs. Hudson was born on August 19, 1916, in Columbus. She was a retired bookkeeper from Raymond Rowe Furniture Company in Columbus. Originally a member of Hillcrest Church of God in Columbus, she currently attended First Assembly of God, Warner Robins, and was active in the American Business Women Association. Her husband, William Lean Hudson; parents, Charlie Monroe Henderson and D-Lona Bell Johnson Henderson; and ten brothers and sisters, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Albert William Smith, Jr.; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services following at 11:00 on Saturday, September 27, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
