On Wednesday, March 17, 2021, Madison Bazemore, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home. He was surrounded by family and the memories of 77 years well-lived.
Born in Butler, Georgia on September 25, 1943, Madison was the son of the late Gordon Forrest Bazemore, Sr. and Lydia Ruth Haglar Bazemore. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and enjoyed a 32-year career as a much-loved mail carrier for the United States Post Office. Madison finally retired in the year 2000. Of the Baptist faith, he loved all animals, going for walks, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sarah Ann Bazemore and his children, Brad Bazemore (Angie) and Kim Fransioli (Dusty), all of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Dylan and Sierra Fransioli, Madison “Maddie” Bazemore and Wesley and Ashley Lane; and several adoring nieces and nephews.
Madison will be laid to rest with a graveside memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021, in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Reverend Marty Watson will officiate.
For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Madison to Heartland Hospice, 5400 Riverside Dr., Ste. 200, Macon, GA 31210.
