Mae Evans Gay

Mae Evans Gay, 67, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 10, 2011.

Ms. Gay was born on December 28, 1943 in Wheeler County, Georgia. She attended Second Baptist Church. Mae retired from Robins Air Force Base where she worked in civil service as a Special Projects Coordinator. She loved spending time with her family, was an avid gardener, and adored her pets; Buddy and Milky. Her parents, Albert C. Evans and Alene Clark Evans, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving son, Sean Gay; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dannie and David Curtis Greene; Joy and Bob Dailey; all of Warner Robins; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday evening, August 12, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Matthew Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Houston County, Inc., P.O. Box 9588, Warner Robins, Georgia 31095.
