Maj. Edward E. Kubitz, Usaf (Ret.)

June 24, 1919 — February 18, 2003

Maj. Edward Ernest Kubitz, USAF (Ret.), 83, died Tuesday, February 18, 2003. Services will be held on Saturday, February 22 at 2:30pm at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 until 8:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Maj. Kubitz was born in Port Arthur, TX, to the late Ernest Adolph and Martha Kubitz. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and recipient of the Purple Heart, having served during both WWII and the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of Daedallions and a member of NAARFE and Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl Kubitz, Warner Robins; daughter, Linda Ann Page, Woodlands, TX; sisters, Mattie Mae Gonsoulin, Texas City, TX, and Johnnie Reynolds, Ashburn, GA; and granddaughter, Adrian Nicole Page, Houston, TX.
