Paul Kenneth Poorman, Jr., 57, entered into rest on Sunday, July 31, 2011.
Paul was born on July 20, 1954 in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. He was of the Episcopal faith. Major Poorman retired from the United States Air Force where he participated in the first Gulf War. He graduated from West Chester University in Pennsylvania and received his Master's in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle University. His parents, Paul Kenneth Poorman, Sr., and Josephine Hostermann Poorman, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of twenty nine years, Suzanne Emilie Dunn-Poorman; children, Paul Kenneth Poorman, III; Declan Edward Warren Poorman; all of Warner Robins; and his black Labrador, Bobby Jones.
The family will receive friends at the Poorman residence from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, for an Irish Wake. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Committal services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Andersonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests friends treat themselves to a nice dinner and bottle of wine.
