Major Jeffrey A. Martin

Major Jeffrey A. Martin, 41, entered into rest on August 8, 2010.

Major Martin was born on May 23, 1969 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He graduated with his bachelor's of arts degree from Campbell University, continuing his education to receive his MBA from Webster University. For the last 21 years, Major Martin served in the United States Air Force with great pride and honor as the Air Battle Manager.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving and devoted wife, Tammara Turpening Martin, Kathleen; father, Herman Martin, Tunnell Hill; mother, Karen Humphery Martin, Lafayette; children, Tabitha and Nicholas Martin, Kathleen; and sisters, Terri Deatherage, Roswell; and Lorie Wren, Punta Gorda, Florida.

The family will receive family and friends at McCullough Funeral Home on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Funeral services officiated by Reverend Glenn H. Smith will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will take place with full military honors on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
