Margaret B. Buckman

Margaret Buckman, 75, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 28, 2008.
Mrs. Buckman was born in Morganfield, Kentucky on June 16, 1933. She worked in banking all of her life, beginning at the Union County Bank in Morganfield, then at the Citizens State Bank in Warner Robins and eventually at the Robins Federal Credit Union where, for many years, she served the membership with pride and integrity in various positions, retiring as a Loan Officer. Her husband, Charles E. Buckman, parents, Floyd Merriman Buckman and Madeline Steward Buckman, brother, Jim Buckman, sisters, Anna Mae Buckman and Mari Carr Snell, and nephew, John Mark Buckman, all preceded her in death.

Treasuring her memory are daughter Kathy Peterson (Charlie), Warner Robins; son, David Buckman, Warner Robins; granddaughters, Jenny Peterson and Karen Buckman, Warner Robins; grandsons, Erza Peterson (Sabrina) Watkinsville and Simon Peterson (Kristin), Alpharetta; four great-grandchildren; sister, Jackie Nessler, Traer, Iowa; brothers, Bill Buckman (Joyce), Bowling Green, Kentucky and John Buckman (Barb), Galin, Ohio; a number of nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be Friday, October 31, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Andy Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
