Margaret Elizabeth Bristow Minter, 86, entered into rest on Sunday, July 12, 2009, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Minter was born on August 18, 1922, in Saint Pauls, North Carolina, and has lived in Warner Robins since 1960. She worked in daycare for twenty-one years and was employed by Korral Klassic Daycare. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church, taught Sunday school, and loved to crochet and read. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Minter; parents, Marvin Bristow and Sarah Livingston Bristow; brother, John L. Bristow; and sister, Pauline McGill.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Judy (Scott) Allison, Janesville, Wisconsin; son, Sam (Angie) Minter, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Brandon (Kelly) Allison, Chicago, Illinois, Tyler Allison, Madison, Wisconsin, and Kyle, John and Bret Minter, Warner Robins; one niece and nephew; and special niece, Ann Adair, Macon.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in her memory to First Presbyterian Church of Warner Robins, 1139 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins GA 31088.
