On Sunday, October 29, 2017, Margaret Hoopes went to sleep here on earth and woke up in Heaven. She was plagued with Alzheimer’s for much of the past decade.
Margaret was born on January 12, 1927 she was 90 years old. In 1962, she along with her husband, and three children moved to Warner Robins and resided at 112 Cherry Lane. Last year, her husband thought it would be best for them to move from their home of 54 years and into assisted living. Margaret always had a smile on her face; she loved life, people, and playing Gin Rummy. She will be truly missed by everyone who was blessed to know her and to have had her share a part in their lives.
Her parents, seven sisters, two brothers, and her beloved daughter, Rena Larae, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Harold Burdette Hoopes who is now 100; son, Randy Gale Hoopes and wife, LaDonna; Daryl Duane Hoopes and wife, Allison; grandsons, Christopher Adam Hoopes; Joseph Daniel Hoopes; Aaron Burdette Hoopes; granddaughter, Margo LaDonna Hoopes; great-granddaughter, Avery Madilyn Hoopes, and great-grandson, Ayden Bryce Hoopes.
At the family’s request, there will be no formal service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Margaret Joan Hoopes to the Alzheimer’s Facility of your choice.
