Margaretta “Margie” Louise Warren, 81, of Warner Robins, joined her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Born on May 24, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, Margie was the daughter of the late Louis G. Mayer and Mildred B. Tighe Mayer.

Margie contributed her time to creating a wonderful home life for her family and treasured the moments spent with her children and grandchildren. Margie also worked as a data processor for Winn Dixie until her retirement.

With a unique and delightful personality, Margie was characterized by her dry sense of humor and her ability to make friends wherever she went. She had a heart for animals, especially her beloved dog, “Annie,” whom she cherished dearly. Margie was known for her compassion and generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

A faithful member of the Solid Rock Community Church in Sanford, North Carolina, Margie found great comfort and strength in her faith.

In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded by death by her husband of 57 years, Allen Lester Warren; son-in-law, Lanny Neal; brother, Louis Mayer and pet dog, Annie.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Bonnie J. Neal of Coral Springs, Florida, Steven Warren (Kerry) of Warner Robins, Lori Ann Warren of Sanford, North Carolina, and Denise Warren of Lake Worth, Florida; grandchildren, Jenna Michele Neal of Coral Springs, Florida, Robert Stephenson of Sanford, North Carolina, Hannah Leigh Warren of Dublin, Georgia, and Caleb James Warren of Cairo, Georgia; adopted daughter, Jennifer D’Amore; sisters, Phyllis Longtoe of Dixmont, Maine, and Barbara Ann Curry, of Saugerties, New York; as well as several nieces and nephews.
