Margie Elizabeth Carroll

Margie Elizabeth Carroll, 65, went to her eternal home with Jesus on March 16, 2023.

Margie was born on August 22, 1957, in Fort Belvoir, Virginia to the late Arnold and Catherine Carroll. Margie loved people. She took care of and loved on everyone she knew or met. She was always making sure those she cared about were okay by checking in on them frequently. Margie loved babies and children, working more than 20 years in childcare. From there, Margie went on to retire from Wal-Mart after 21 years. She was a devoted daughter and sister. A true optimist, Margie always had good things to say and was a friend to all who knew her. To know Margie, was to love and be loved by her.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her brother, Bennie C. Carroll; her adopted family, Becky Harris, Phillip Shaver, Stacey Velting, and Stephanie Davis; along with many aunts, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, March 20, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Margie will be laid to rest at 3:00 p.m. in Piney Mount Cemetery on Piney Mount Church Road in Wrightsville, Georgia.
