Margree Paskel Arnold

Margree Arnold, 79, joined her beloved husband, SMSgt. William "Bill" Arnold, USAF (Ret.) in heaven on the evening of Wednesday, February 1, 2017.

Margree was born in Warren, Arkansas to the late Jesse and Mary Marks Paskel on May 26, 1937. She was a proud and supportive military wife to her husband, Bill, and dedicated mother to their three sons. Mrs. Arnold was a retired sales manager with AAFES at Robins Air Force Base.

A woman of faith and the heart of the Arnold family, Margree shaped their spirituality by her tireless Christian example. She was a member of Rose of Sharon Full Gospel Community Church in Macon and lived her life to bring glory to the name of Jesus. Mrs. Arnold sang her whole life and was honored to sing with the Robins Gospel Experience Choir at the Base Chapel. She loved all people, welcoming many into her family. Her kind words, selflessness, grace, and strength will be carried on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, SMSgt. William Arnold, USAF (Ret.); and brother, Jessie Lee Paskel.

Margree leaves her memory behind with her loving sons, Jeffrey Arnold of Macon, Leonard Arnold of San Francisco, California, and Steven Arnold (Charlie) of Perry; grandchildren, Kevin Arnold (Nicole), Andrea Arnold, Teri Williams, Leonard Arnold II, and Jordan, Elliott, and Tyler Arnold; great-grandchildren, Jordan Arnold, Jr. and Jakoby, Asher, Jabari, Frankie, Aria, and Jelani Arnold; brothers, Phillip, Wayne, and Charles Paskel; and a number of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Arnold will be laid to rest in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7th.
