Maria Elena Bell

Maria Elena Bell, affectionately known to family and friends as "Helen" was born on July 24, 1965 in Tacloban City to the late Maria Lugro and Bertoldo Lucion. She departed this earth Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Devine Word Hospital in Tacloban City, Leyte Philippines.

Helen took pleasure in cooking, watching CBN Philippines television daily, listening to tagalog (her native language) love songs, and fishing. She was a great cook and loved cooking for many of her friends, but her greatest love was her children and will truly be missed.

Helen leaves to her cherish memories, her loving husband of 27 years, Clayton Bell of Warner Robins; two sons, Joel of Manila, Philippines and Jamar of Warner Robins; one daughter, Vanessa of Warner Robins; four grandkids, Teziyha, Jhon Vhier, John Dave, and Juliana Mariel; one sister, Millie; one brother, Roberto; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Rosary will be on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Father Thomas J. Fey officiating. Afterwards, Helen will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Bell’s arrangements.
