Maria Eujenia Edith Aqueveque

Eujenia Edith Aqueveque, 93, entered into rest on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Eujenia was born on September 14, 1929, in Linares, Chile. She led a difficult life as a young person, but was an incredibly hard worker, who raised her five children while doing so. She became a grandmother of 14 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 12 great-grandchildren. In her later years, her children would take care of her much like she took care of them.

Eujenia was preceded in death by her mother, Berta Rosa Aqueveque Velozo.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Maria Capelli of Dover, NJ, Peter Capelli of Hopatcong, NJ, Francisco Capelli of Valparaiso, Chile, Berta Capelli Tinney (Mark) of Bonaire, GA, and Rossana Torres (Ricardo Soto) of Santiago, Chile, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Eujenia’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on April 26, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
