Maria Kropf Bierbaum

Maria Kropf Bierbaum peacefully passed away July 4, 2022, surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Craig Eugene Bierbaum.

Maria was born on January 9, 1938, in Puchberg am Schneeberg, Austria. At 19, she moved to Zurich, Switzerland, where she worked as a nurse’s aide for several years. She eventually moved to London, where she met her future husband of 34 years. In 1967, they moved to the United States.

She resided in Warner Robins and devoted her life to raising her family. She was a devout Catholic at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crafts, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Michele Bierbaum Lohr (husband, Kenneth) and Heidi Bierbaum Hicks, and her beloved granddaughter, Jessie Marie Hicks.

A private graveside service with family will be held to honor her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Maria’s name to an animal rescue of your choice.
