Longtime Warner Robins resident Marian Ruth Callaway passed away January 18, 2021 after a brief illness.
Known for her artistic abilities, Marion was a fan of crafting, using her talent to create beautiful flower arrangements and quilts. She could also be found on the sidelines cheering on her grandchildren at their many baseball and football games.
She retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base as a training scheduler in the sheet metal division. Marian was a devoted member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church.
Marian was born in Montgomery, Alabama on June 2, 1948 to the late John Frederick and Annie Ruth Kohler. At a young age, she moved to Warner Robins and made her home there.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 24 years, Randell Thomas Callaway; children, Stephanie Cruthirds (Randle) of Warner Robins and Michele Driesback of Forsyth; four grandchildren, Ashley, Blake (Celisa), Avery and Alexis; four great grandchildren, Connor, Jayden, Bryson, and Cameron; and brothers, Wayne Kohler (Gail) and Mike Kohler (Nollie), all of Lake Sinclair, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at McCullough Funeral Home on Saturday, January 23, 2021 with Reverend Joe Haselden officiating. Burial will take place at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
