Marian Yeager Mullen passed away Sunday, April 25, 2004 at the Peach Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 28 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 27 at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mullen made her home in Fort Valley where she was a member of the Chamlee Memorial Baptist Church. She was active in the Middle Georgia area in various capacities including serving as an English Language teacher of Internationals at Central Baptist Church, working as a nurse throughout the Middle Georgia area, volunteering with the Red Cross, and participating in the Book Club of Perry. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emory Heyward and Eugenia Speer Heyward.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Robert Mullen, Fort Valley; son, Joe Yeager (Reba), Alpharetta; daughter, Sue Yeager Berry (Bill), Alpharetta; son, AlanYeager (Laurie), Denver, CO; son, Keith Yeager (Karen), Warner Robins; daughter, Amy Ellison (Lee), Orlando, FL; and daughter, Tracey Declet (David), Orlando, FL; brother, Emory Heyward of TN; and sister, Eugenia Davis,Loxahatchee,FL; and ten grandchildren.
