Marjorie Alice Williams Evans, 68, entered into rest on Thursday, January 27, 2011.
Mrs. Evans was born on February 21, 1942 in Eatonton. She worked for the Houston County Board of Education at Parkwood School as a Nutrition Specialist for twenty-five years, and served as Room Mom and Team Mom. She was extremely involved with her kids when they were growing up. Her favorite hobbies were crocheting, doing crafts and raising animals. Her father, John Stephens Williams, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, James Evans; sons, Scott Evans (Jennifer), Warner Robins, and Shawn Evans (Shelly), Centerville; grandchildren, Kayla, Dalton, Jared and Ashtyn; sisters, Elaine Hart, Warner Robins, and Charlotte Etheridge, Jones County; brother, Virgil Williams, Jones County; and mother, Alice Pauline Linch Williams, Gray.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Elder Gary James officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
