Marjorie Kalebaugh, 85, surrounded by family, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2007. Mrs. Kalebaugh was born on June 10, 1921, in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church, Ocala, FL. Her parents, Thomas M. Barwise, Sr. and Alfaretta L. Barwise, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kalebaugh graduated from the Texas College of Mines in El Paso, TX. She taught school in Texas, New Mexico, Michigan and Florida. She was a devoted wife and mother and a member of Tri Delta Sorority.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years whom she loved dearly, Lt. Col. (ret.) George Kalebaugh, Sr., Warner Robins; daughter, Marsha Christensen (Howard), McKenna, WA; son, George Kalebaugh, Jr. (Carlene), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jarrod, Rachel (Josh), Katie and Chrissy; great-grandchild, Carter; sister-in-law, Rose Lillian McCombs, Covelo, CA.
Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2007, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2007 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Crystal Cathedral, 12141 Lewis Street, Garden Grove, CA 92840 or Bonaire First Baptist Church Building Fund, 142 W. Highway 96, Bonaire, GA 31005.
