Marjorie Mclendon

Marjorie McLendon, 78, entered into rest Saturday, March 14, 2009.
Mrs. McLendon was born in Wahiawa, Hawaii on January 28, 1931. Of the Baptist Faith, she had lived in Warner Robins for forty years and retired from Robins Air Force Base as an Electronics and Avionics Technician. She was preceded in death by her sons, Maurice McLendon and Mark McLendon, parents, Charles Emerson Jernigen and Margaret Edith Jernigen, and siblings, Laura Alligood, Mildred Sumlin and Charles Klein.

Treasuring her memory are her daughter, Michele McLendon Conroy, Rentz; sons, Michael McLendon (Margaret), Nevada, Texas, Mitchell McLendon (Linda "Red"), Fort Worth, Texas, Max McLendon (Sue), Hinesville and Marlon McLendon (Sheryl), San Diego, California; grandchild, Jason McLendon, Woodstock; great-grandchildren, Mason and Jase, Woodstock; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in Victory Baptist Church, Macon.
