Marjorie Olive Fuqua

Marjorie Olive Fuqua, a 96 year-old native and former resident of Mobile, Alabama and current resident of Centerville/Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, square dancing, ice skating and ceramics. Marjorie also played violin in the Mobile Symphony Orchestra.

Mrs. Fuqua was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Fuqua, Sr.; parents, Milton and Olive Conditt Denmark; granddaughter, Sondra Dianne Fuqua; two sisters; and three brothers.

She is survived by her son, Bill (Dianne); daughter, Carolyn; three grandkids; five great-grandkids; and one sister.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Marjorie to the Alzheimer's' Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, MD 20014 or to your favorite charity.
