A faithful servant of the Lord, Mark Harold Luce went to his Heavenly home and Father on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was 54 years old.
Mark loved everything about loving the Lord. He worshipped fervently at his church home of Second Baptist Church of Warner Robins. With his servant’s heart, Mark spent many years as a youth pastor ministering to teens. In 2005, he worked as a missionary pastor and team leader with ABWE in Sydney, Australia. During his 12 years down under, Mark also became an Australian citizen.
In his spare time, Mark was an avid Lego collector. Working with his hands and fixing things was a passion of his. More than that, Mark was a family man who spent his time with his wife, his children, his family, and his friends.
Born in Jackson, Michigan on February 2, 1967, Mark was the son of the late Max Harold Luce and Virginia Doris Luce.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kimberly Luce; children, Ashlee Meeks (Aaron), Austin Luce, Kaylee Luce, and Kaleb Luce; sister, Mary Dyck (Michael), stepmother, Marjorie Luce; stepbrother, Jeff Hunter (Regan); stepsister, Cindy Stumme (Jack); and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Perry with his funeral service immediately following at the church. Mark will be laid to rest at Perry Memorial Gardens. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the “Prayers for Mark” Facebook page at www.facebook.com/prayersforMarkLuce/live.
