Marshall D. Cook, 54, entered into rest on Monday, April 19, 2010.
Mr. Cook was born on July 10, 1955, in El Paso, Texas. He served his country through civil service for over thirty years as a maintenance workload analyst and was employed at Robins Air Force Base. He attended Green Acres Baptist Church and Centerville United Methodist Church. Marshall was a lifelong lover of sports. He played softball for many years, played golf and coached girls' softball for the Warner Robins Recreation Department. His greatest joy was his family, especially his two precious granddaughters. He was an executive board member and lifetime member of the Northside Booster Club. His parents, C.L. "Buddy" Cook and Mary Estelle Dawson Grant, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Sandra Grimsley Cook; daughters, Jessica Wilkerson (Jeremy), Warner Robins, and Shellie Hutchens (Derrick), Hoschton, Georgia; and granddaughters, Logan Cook and Tyler Hutchens.
Visitation will be Friday, April 23, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Bruce Brookshire officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Northside High School Booster Club, 926 Green Street, Warner Robins GA 31093.
