Early on the morning of Sunday, November 13, 2022, Martha Ann Williams “Molly” Hollis, 62, passed peacefully from this life to the next.
Ms. Hollis was born on January 28, 1960, in Hollandale, Mississippi. With honor and bravery, she served her country in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force before continuing in civil service on Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Whenever Ms. Hollis walked into a room, everyone knew who she was. A woman of eclectic tastes, she enjoyed nice jewelry, reading, listening to Prince, and driving fast cars. But her greatest joy in life came from time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Bell and her brother, Terrence Williams.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Brian Banks (Camillia), Bria Hollis, and Weston Hollis; her grandson, Bentley Hollis; her mother, Alma Jean Bell; her siblings, Jerry Williams (Darlene), Jacqueline Williams, Valisa Williams, and Malina Williams; her former husband of twenty-four years, Ralph Hollis; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Visitation with Ms. Hollis’s family will be Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at a later date in Belleville, Illinois. Following the service, Ms. Hollis will be laid to rest in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
