Marvin "Butch" Lee Propst

– Marvin L. "Butch" Propst, 72, entered into rest on Thursday, June 12, 2014

Butch was born on October 12, 1941 in Welch, West Virginia. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He also worked for several contractors in the technical order field after retiring from Robins Air Force Base. He had many loves in his life; woodwork, fishing, reading, gardening, trains, God and the United States. Butch once described himself as a simple man who loved simple pleasures. He was always ready to lend a hand or help someone in need.

His parents, Marvin Eugene Propst and Cordelia Marney Propst, preceded him in death

His greatest love was his family; wife, Carole Propst, of Warner Robins, sons; Eric Propst (Penny), of Warner Robins, Brian Propst (Jennifer), of Macon, Wesley Propst (Rachel), of Warner Robins; his thirteen grandchildren; and cat Sissie.
