Marvin Glenn Gibson

Marvin Glenn Gibson, 84, entered into rest on Sunday, July 2, 2023.

Marvin was born on June 19, 1939, in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Marvin and Clara Gibson. As a young adult he served our country in the Navy for four years. Afterward, he began a career as a “trouble shooter” for several companies, but most recently Campbell Oil Company in North Carolina. This job required him and his family to move frequently. He was married to his loving wife Frances for 62 years and they shared two beautiful children together. Most recently, Marvin spent his time reading, fishing, and traveling with the family.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Theresa Frances Gibson; his two children, Kerry Gibson, and Terri Seigel (Scott) both of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Joshua Seigel (Ashley), and Clayton Seigel; great-grandchildren, Preston Oakes, and Myles Seigel; and his brother, Jerry Gibson of Little Rock, Arkansas.
