Marvin Mitchel ''Sarge'' Ethridge

Marvin Mitchel "Sarge" Ethridge, 67, entered into rest on Thursday, November 24, 2011.

Mark was born on July 4, 1944 in Geneva, Alabama. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he served during the Vietnam War. After twenty three years of service, he retired as a First Sergeant. Mark was an avid outdoorsman, and will be greatly missed as a son, father, grandfather, and brother. His father, Jerrol D. Ethridge, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Reba Mae Watson Ethridge of Warner Robins; children, Reggie (Polishia) Ethridge of Greenville, North Carolina and Missy Ethridge of New Bern, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Kayla and Kelsey Ethridge; sister, Bonnie (Jerry) Webb of San Francisco, California; and two nieces, Paula Rubin and Sherry Kohlberg.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
