Mary Ann Purser, 69, entered into rest on Monday, November 29, 2010.
Mrs. Purser, born in Waycross on August 21, 1941, was a charter member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She worked twenty-eight years in civil service as an Equipment Specialist before she retired from Robins Air Force Base. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Purser; daughter, Kathy McSwain; and parents, Walter Culpepper, Grace Davis Revel and Robert C. Revel.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Brenda Tiller (Owin), Warner Robins, son-in-law, Scott McSwain (Janann), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Tabitha Pugh, Warner Robins, James Levison, Germany, and Ann Levison, Warrenton, Virginia; great-grandchild, Chloe Pugh; half-brother and sisters, Walter Culpepper, Nancy Saffold and Elizabeth Stanzcyk, all of Jacksonville, Florida; two aunts and several cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Eugene Barlow officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
