Mary C. Martin

Mary Martin, 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2006. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2006 at Pinehurst Cemetery in Pinehurst, Georgia. Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2006 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Houston County, P. O. Box 1544, Warner Robins Georgia 31099.

Mrs. Martin was born on November 30, 1919 in Pinehurst, Georgia. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Her husband, Woodrow Martin, Sr.; parents, Richard and Ada Cooley; and daughter, Lenora Martin; preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Richard Martin (Joanne), Loretta Jackson, Jo Ann Davis; all of Warner Robins; Woodrow Wilson Martin, Jr., Fort Valley; Ronald Martin (Lynette), Centerville; Deleanor “Tiny” Phillips, Irwinton; sisters, Molly Hamby; Peggy Woods; Janice Edwards; brother, William Gilbert Cooley; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty great grandchildren.
