Mary Cortez Wood

Mary Cortez Wood, 61, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2004 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 13, at the Highest Praise Church of God, 425 South Houston Road, Warner Robins with interment following at 3:30p.m. in Pitts City Cemetery in Wilcox County. Visitation will be 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12.

Mrs. Wood was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Highest Praise Church of God. Preceding her in death were parents, Felton and Celia Nutt.

Survivors include, husband, Rev. Eddie Vaughn Wood, Jr., Warner Robins, GA; daughter, Naomi Miller (Robert), Pell City, AL; sons, Eddie Wood (Susan), Carrollton, GA; Lt. Col. Stephen Wood (Kendell), Cumming, GA; Timothy Wood (Teri), Perry, GA; brother, Richard Nutt, Pitts, GA; sisters, Margie Cape, Cairo, GA; Marlene Vaughn, Douglas, GA; and twelve grandchildren.
