Mary E. Carroll, 82, entered into rest on Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Born on February 3, 1928 in College Park, Georgia, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Warner Robins and a dedicated servant of her Lord Jesus Christ. Her parents, Luther Alvin Cook and Estell Nolan Cook, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of sixty-four years, Emmett E. Carroll, Jr., Perry; son, Earnie Carroll (Maxine), Stockbridge; daughters, Diane Franklin (Larry), Pell City, Alabama, and Bonnie Wynn (Fred), Jonesboro; son, Adrian Carroll (Gail), Perry; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Morris, Atlanta, Barbara Morrow, Gunnersville, Alabama, Gladys Scarbrough, College Park, and Marie Davis, Clearwater, Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, April 12, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral, services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, at Second Baptist Church, the Reverend Mike Slade officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville
