Mary E. Murphy

Mary E. Murphy, 71, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007.

Mrs. Murphy was born on December 6, 1935 in Eastman, Georgia. A homemaker, she loved working with arts and crafts and sold many of her designs at the BX on Robins Air Force Base. Her parents, Jerome Bennett and Idelia May Stephens, and two siblings, Joan Register and Wymon Bennett, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Murphy, Centerville; daughter, Sherry Prince (Owen), Soddy Daisy, TN; son, Daniel May (Linda), Crawford, GA; grandchildren, Alfred May, John May, David Prince, Tony Barr and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and cousins.

The family will receive visitors in their home at 112 Scarborough RD Centerville, GA from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
