Mary Elizabeth Ewer, 52, passed away and entered the gates of heaven on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
Mary was born on May 14, 1969, in Warner Robins, Georgia to the late Robert Fairchild and Mary Bird Fairchild. She attended Warner Robins Nazarene Church. She had a big heart and a passion for helping others. Mary brought much beauty and kindness into our world and will be truly missed. She loved her soap operas, gardening, spending time with family and playing with her grandkids and her beloved dog, Marley. She took great joy working as a bell ringer each year with the Salvation Army.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband, Anthony Ewer; children; Kayla Schmidt (Patrick) and Christian Fairchild (Nena); grandchildren; Robert Schmidt, Jaxon Schmidt, Alex Schmidt and Brooklyn Fairchild; mother, Mary Bird Fairchild; her second mom, Brenda Blasco; and siblings, Patricia Thompkins, Neal Fairchild (Tammy), Tina Tambornini, John Fairchild (Jan) and Ruby Irvine (Tony).
Visitation with Mary’s family will be Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family is requesting that masks be worn and will be provided if needed. Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
