Mary Ellen Kaye Ramsey

Mary Ellen Ramsey went home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2018 at the Church Home Rehabilitation and Healthcare facility.

Mary Ellen loved spending time with her husband of 62 years, Wayne L. Ramsey traveling, yard sale shopping and craft shows. She was a fun, lively and caring lady to all who met her. She loved her family enough to move to Georgia from California to be close to her daughter and granddaughters. The caregivers at the Church Home became like family to her and looked after her with great care.

Mary Ellen was born in Grandview, WA to her parents, William Bonifas and Ima Luper Bonifas Cochran who have proceeded her in death.

Her memory will be forever treasured by her devoted husband, Wayne L. Ramsey of Warner Robins; daughter, Sharon Ramsey Alday (Larry) of Warner Robins; son, Gary W. Ramsey (Cheryl) of Tulare, California; granddaughters, Samantha Lee Thompson (Clint) of Tifton; Danielle Elizabeth Neal (Andrew) of Indianapolis, Indiana. Four great-grandchildren, Millie, Tucker, Titus, and Shepard.

Family can be visted at the home of Larry and Sharon Alday, 106 Wedgewood Ct., Warner Robins, Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. the Chapel of McCullough. Following the service, Mary Ellen will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mary Ellen Kaye Ramsey to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201.
