Mary Eloise Brooks Stephens

Mary Eloise Brooks Stephens died Monday, November 4, 2002 at Warner Robins Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 7 in the First Baptist Church Chapel. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm on Thursday in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Camilla, GA. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central Georgia Chapter, 277 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Suite 201, Macon, GA 31201.

Mrs. Stephens was born in Mitchell County, Georgia. She was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins and a Sunday School teacher for nearly thirty years. Her husband, Burnett C. Stephens, parents, John A. and Vivian Rackley Brooks, and a grandson, John Addison Mangual, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lurene and Jorge Mangual, Warner Robins; grandson, Tony Mangual, Warner Robins; and great-granddaughters, Jill Mangual Boyd and Rena Mangual Boyd, both of Hopkinsville, KY.
