Mary Frances Mock, 85, entered into rest on Saturday, June 13, 2009.
Mrs. Mock was born on September 27, 1923 in Covington County, Alabama. A faithful prayer warrior for family and friends, she had been the librarian at Evergreen Baptist Church for many years and was most recently a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, James W. Mock, Sr., her parents, Allen P. Harp and Dora Garrett Harp, and brothers, W.T., Rex, and Edwin Harp.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her sons, James W. Mock, Jr. (Janice), Alamo and Charles T. "Terry" Mock (Joyce), Kathleen; grandchildren, Shane Mock (Dana), Cochran, Jason Mock (Gretchen), Bonaire, Heather White (Ben), Wisconsin, and Ashley Powell (Herman), Adrian; great-grandchildren Hope, Christopher, Kyle, Sidney, Ella and Bodhi; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, June 15, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, the Reverend Bo Stanley and George West officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
