Mary Frances Roland

Mary Frances Roland went to her heavenly reward when she passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. She was 93 years old at the time of her passing.

Born in Sylvester, Georgia on October 25, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John William Deese and Florence Lucille Stanford Davis. A homemaker for most of her life, Frances was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church and attended Faith Sunday School class. An avid gardener, you could always find her busy planting flowers. Frances was an active participant at the Wellston Senior Citizens Club and the Centerville Senior Citizens Club, traveling to many different cities with the groups.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Crum Roland, and brother, George Deese.

Left to treasure her memory are her son, Steve Roland of Perry; and daughters, Sheila Waddle (Ted), Brenda Roland, and Linda Crabb (G.W.), all of Warner Robins, and Patricia Marsh of Byron; grandchildren, Tammy Ross (Jim), Eric Deppen (Ronda), Jason Roberts (Christi), Leslie Lemley (Rusty), Dani Roberts, Kimberly Griggs, Kelly Hentges (Jeff), Nicole Mowen (Tyler), Bruce Crabb, and Derick Griggs (Ashley); sister, Willa Lou Beach; sister-in-law, Lorraine Deese; as well as 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Frances will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022 at McCullough Funeral Home. Her service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at a private, family-only burial.
