Mary Gallegos Booth, 79, entered into rest on Thursday, October 24, 2013.
Mary was born on June 17, 1934 in Casper, Wyoming to the late George and Veda Gallegos. She was of the Catholic faith. Mary retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where she worked as a Microfilm Stripper. She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and past President of the Ladies Auxiliary. Mary was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, loved to read, and enjoyed gardening. She was passionate about spending time with her family. Mary will truly be missed by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Otto Booth, second husband, Jimmy Tennille, two sisters and one brother.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Theresa A. Griffin Cowles (David), Susan Booth Padgett (James); all of Warner Robins; sister, Shirley Carter, Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren, Tangel Smith-Tarpley, Shawnna Garner, Tonya Griffin, Terryn Williams, Alicia Stroup; eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be Friday, October 25, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
