Mary Hough Graham, 87, passed away quietly after an extended illness surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 12, 2010.
Mrs. Graham was born on October 21, 1922, in Culloden. After attending Macon Hospital School of Nursing, she worked as a nurse for many years at Forsyth Hospital and later at Houston Medical Center. She was a member of Shirley Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben M. Stewart, and J.W. "Jake" Graham; daughter, Pam Hayes; and parents, Arthur Hough and Cleo Ellerbee Hough.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Hope Tarpley (Jim), Peachtree City, and Debra Stewart, Warner Robins; sister, Martha Bunch (Phillip), Jackson; brothers, Joseph P. Hough (Jeri), Melrose, Florida, and Francis Hough, Bena Vista, Virginia; grandchildren, Lisa Tarpley, Mark Banks, Jamie Tarpley (Michelle), Julie Hayes and Mandy Anderson; great-grandchildren, Timothy and Matthew Anderson, Alex and Taylor Tarpley; and many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Andy Cook officiating. Burial will be private at Magnolia Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the Warner Robins Animal Shelter, 208 Stalnaker Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088, or Shirley Hills Baptist Church – Building Fund, 615 Corder Road, Warner Robins GA 31088.
