Mary Janice "Jan" Turner Lowery, 65, entered into rest on April 30, 2009.

Ms. Lowery was born on January 14, 1944 in Fort Benning and lived most of her adult life in Albany. She worked in the medical field and owned a florist shop. Of the Baptist Faith, she was well known for her extensive charity work. Her parents, L.C. Turner and Sara Alligood Turner, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Marina Flournoy McMickle, Albany; grandson, Justin Ryan Foster, Albany; granddaughters, Madison Grace and Olivia Parker McMickle, both of Macon; sister, Dianne Turner Carter, Warner Robins; niece, Stacey (Mario) Nicolas, Macon; great-nephew, Nicolas Herrera, Macon; and great-niece, Liliana Herrera, Macon.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Pelham City Cemetery, Pastor Lynn Roberts officiating. Memorial donations may be given to Heartland Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon GA 31210, or American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon GA 31201.
